How to replace windshield washer fluid sending unit in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe?

I have a 2002 Trailblazer LT Ext that I have had some problems with also. My windshield washer sending unit would come on by itself even if the vehicle was off. Just so you know, it was not the unit itself it ended up being the relay under the hood in the fuse block. Removing the actual unit should be fairly easy. Unplug the wiring harness from the top of the sending unit by lifting up on the retaining tab and pulling away from the sending unit at the same time. There is a rubber seal on the connector, make sure not to loose it when you unplug the connector from the sending unit. The bottom should pop out of the tank with some pulling. The bottom of the unit is pressed into the lowest part of the tank like a cork. That's it. Brad
