Their website clearly states:
"All OrthoPak® Bone Growth Stimulator Systems are designed to deliver 270 days of continuous therapeutic treatment for 24 hours per day. The recommended daily therapeutic treatment is continuous for 24 hours. Federal Law (U.S.A.) restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. Rx Only - Prescription Only - Single Patient Use Only - Do Not Reuse."
Obviously the FDA imposes the above restrictions and any attempt to reset the device so that it could be used by someone else would be a violation of the same Federal Law that makes it illegal to give your prescription drugs to someone else.

It cannot be re programmed. It has an internal clock system that will shut off by itself.

It seems more than a coincidence that with in weeks after using a bone stimulator for my L4 L5 fusion my PSA shot from 2 to 9. I had a normal prostate just before my operation. Any one else have similar observations?
