There is a plastic cover that needs removed. Its the cover that is inside the passenger side wheel well. To remove this cover properly there are three bolts and two nuts. One of the nuts is located under the headlight on the frame, so the headlight needs removed. It is the located on the pipe that comes out the exhaust manifold.
Remove cover on top of engine, pull plug wires straight up.The spark plugs will be down in a hole for each cylinder. You need a spark plug socket and a long extention to reach them.
I started by removing the camshaft cover, then I realized the many other parts have to be removed before being able to succesfuly replace the sensor.... I also would like to know the procedure. Thanks
YOu will have to remove the rear seat and the cover. This will make the fuel pump visible. Once you do this you will have to disconnect the two fuel lines and electic plugs. One you turn the lock, the fuel pump assembly will come out.

Take plastic engine cover off, which is on top of engine. You will find 4 Allen screws holding the cover in place. The cover is mounted on top of the valve covers. Camshaft position sensor is located to the left of the engine...(looking at engine) you will see two cam gears, sensor is located between the gears. Good luck!
