you can basically only call the vet if your female is pregnant 12 months and about to give birth it will cost you beween 500 and 600 equus depending on how good the e.c is. However, you may buy antibiotics for your horses in the shop.
On the day that your mare is due to foal, a link to "call the vet" will appear at the bottom right of her page, and a note in red will show on her list of activities to say that she is due. You must call the vet on this day otherwise she will lose the foal, and you will lose a karma point.

To get a vet, you'll need to have an Equestrian Center. So here are the steps to go through if/when you have an EC:

1. Mouse over "Equestrian Center" on the main bar at the top of the page
2. Click "Employees"
   
3. Scroll down to the Vet section.
   
4. Click "Hire Vet"
   
5. Select contact duration, salary (unless you absolutely cannot afford it, go for the maximum payment), and type in the user if someone has asked for a job reservation.
   
6. Click "Submit"

If someone likes the looks of your job offer, they most likely will accept. =)

If you need a vet ASAP, you can click "Hire Temporary Employee" on the "Hire Vet" page. Temporary Vets' salaries are 250e per day.

veterinarian help on howrse you need is if your howrse is about to give birth. You can buy other medicines at the shop. If your howrse is going to give birth, where normally you can do a scan thingy, there sould be a thing that says "Call a vet" click it.

Just press the 'send to the veterinary' link or button on the pop-up and it should take you to naming your foal. If you are on the international I think the price is 200 equus, so make sure you have that much or you will lose the foal. On international, US, and howrse cup I am lesti:) Friend me.

Well when it is time for you mare to foal under reproduction it will say go get the vet in red letters. Click that and it will tell you the price for foaling.
