Once you've got that figured out, I suggest you go around and ask your friends what they would think about having such a club. Focus on getting feedback and really listen to any negatives that might arise from starting the club and think about how to prevent them or work around them. Also, ask some teacher or school official who would be willing to fund your club or at least host it so that you actually have a place to meet. Finally, if you are happy with the interest you've received, take it up to the principal or even the guidance counselor. Make sure you've got all the information beforehand; it really helps to be and appear prepared before you ask for the final decision.
