Here is what Ford says to do: Remove the cabin air filter and housing. Remove the old sealer. Apply a minimum 12mm bead of rope sealer (obtain locally) to the cabin air filter housing sealing surface. Reinstall the housing.

Probably leaking heater core.If not repairable get one from junkyard.

If water is leaking from the cabin air filter on a Buick Century then the seal must be replaced. Replacing the seal requires removing the glove box to reach the cabin filter. Once done, the seal can safely be replaced.

Gonna need more info than that. The make and model would help.

I was looking at the 1996 Lincoln Continental Owner Guide and it doesn't show anything about it having a cabin air filter from the factory ( P.S. I'm not a mechanic / technician )

Should tell you on the filter. 'Up' is the incoming air side and the side opposite the blower.

There is no filter installed from the factory (unless you paid for that when you bought it), but the spot for it is between the windshield and the hood on the passenger side of the car. There will be a small tab and a section that looks like it will pull up - under that is where the cabin filter should be installed.

The mercury cabin filter is replaced from under the hood. You need to remove the plastic trim on the passenger side just above/behind the strut mount.

You need to remove the glove box. It is directly behind it. Requires two filters and pay attention to the air flow arrows.

Under your windshield is a plastic strip that spans by your wiper baldes, by your antenna there will be a hole with a bolt take that bolt out and lift up the plastic and your cabin airfilter should be in there. If not it will be behind the glove compartment. I started working with them so that should be it... .

in the exhaust possibly but in the cabin more often means leaking heater core.
