Don't put peroxide in your mouth. It can kill you. Go back to the piercing parlor or your doctor's to have it checked out. To properly clean your piercing, brush your teeth twice a day, as well as the top and bottom of your tongue. To clean the tongue bar, dip it in alcohol, and if you're putting it back in your tongue right away, rinse it. I don't have my tongue pierced, though I want one, and I asked my boyfriend this question. He gave me his answer.

The ear piercing gun will not have the reach nor will the studs be long enough to allow for the swelling the will take place after the piercing is done.
