Go into the manual and see the torque specs listed for that part number/part. You can rent a torque wrench at some hardware stores and set it to the exact specs desired for the part. If u look at buying one they range from 50$-500$ for good ones. I personally paid 200$ for a nice craftsmen one and it has lifetime warranty and has never failed in the 2 years of ownership.

Remove the intake and exhaust manifolds. Remove the head. Torque the head and manifolds to the correct torque and sequence, you will need a repair manual for this.

There are two head gaskets,one for each head.

The only fix is to replace the gaskets. Also check to make sure the head is not warped or cracked.

i have a 95 probe gt 2.5l with a bad head gasket and it overheats if driven longer than 5-10 min tops idk how to fix it though hope this helps
It may be the water pump.
To repair the head gasket on a 1987 Ford Bronco, the head and the old gasket must be removed. Purchase a new head gasket and carefully install it according to manufacturer specifications.
Coolant is getting into the combustion chamber. Sounds like a head gasket problem.
