There are really only very few things that can go wrong with it. FIRST: Make sure you are looking at the main COOLING SYSTEM fan and NOT the A/C operated auxiliary cooling fan.
Check the fuse/relay for the fan to make sure it isn't 'blown.' Then check the operation of the heat sensor (mounted in the engine block) that control the on-off cycle of the fan. Lastly check the fan motor itself to make sure it hasn't burnt out.
