You can't. Two 4 ohm speakers in parallel equal 2 ohms, and two in series equal 8 ohms. It is possible to wire four 4 ohm speakers so that the load is 4 ohms though. Put two in series (8 ohms). put the other two in series (8 ohms). Then put the two sets in parallel (two 8 ohm sets in parallel equal 4 ohms).
Can you connect a bare wire from the cooktop to a green wire in a box?
Green and bare are both grounds and can be connected. To double check you could use an Ohm meter and make sure the green wire is connected to the cook-top chassis.
How do you find out if a wire is grounding out?
Get a multimeter and put it on the ohm setting. Touch the wire with one probe and the engine block with the other lead, if the meter reads anything but OL, it's shorted to ground.

10 AWG wire will have less resistance per foot and therefore you can have longer runs with 10 AWG than 12 AWG without as much loss of signal. For a 4 ohm speaker at 1% is .04 ohms. The resistance of #12 wire is .001588 ohms per foot. This will allow you to run 25 feet and still stay within the parameters. yes, they will be really loud. right now i have only a 250 watt amp pushing bothof mine and they are pretty loud for my small sunfire. even if you have a big suburban or something they will be pretty loud
