Oil production in Iraq dropped
The 1991 invasion of Iraq, primarily by a coalition led by the United States in response to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, had profound and lasting effects on the country. It resulted in significant destruction of infrastructure, a humanitarian crisis, and economic sanctions that crippled the Iraqi economy for years. Additionally, the war exacerbated ethnic and sectarian tensions, leading to ongoing instability and conflict in the region. The consequences of the invasion laid the groundwork for future conflicts, including the 2003 Iraq War.
Technically, because Congress never approved of it, Iraq is labeled an Invasion.

No, there is not an invasion. Turkey is just trying to catch PKK terrorists in Hakkari.
This question strikes me as somewhat misinformed. Since it was Saddam Hussein's country which was invaded, I don't think he had a purpose in the invasion. The invasion was undertaken by American forces against Iraq, and Saddam fled.
The United Nations had not authorized an invasion of Iraq. Bush worried that invading Iraq would lead to an extended occupation Bush thought the invasion would lead to a quagmire
