The idea of a cell phone actually began with police radios in the 1930's, but the first working cell phone was created by Dr. Martin Cooper for Motorola in 1974. It wasn't sold to consumers until the late 1980's. The phones were big, expensive, with no cell coverage in many places because there were no towers. Calls were charged by the minute and they didn't have internet, cameras, or apps on them.

Things that are creations of man did not exist before and therefore can not be discovered
