Mohammad's went to the other world in 632 for to meet his Allah(Muslims don't say that prophet died they say "irtihali dari beka" means go for meeting Allah to the timeless other world), the four friends of the Prophet were chosen by the election between the Muslims.they are Ebu Bekr, Omar,Osman,Ali.than Emevies come as a kingdom and after that the Caliphs are chosen from the sons of the former Caliph.the last caliph in 3 march 1924 Republic of Turkey abolished Caliph and there is no Caliph after that date.
