simple in the war bettween the Mexicans and the USA there was a fears battle always on that side of Texas trying to gain controle of the place but when the US won the war Mexico still wanted some of the place so they struck the US a deal they will supply and bui;d a railway bettween the US and Mexico if they get some of the west and the US said yes and that's how it was formed...the end
