I know that garlic is a natural 'antibiotic' and can be used to kill bacteria in the mouth to relieve tooth infections and so on, I have used it to relieve an infection on a tooth which needed to be treated afterwards.
The medical scientists and the medicine industry have failed to recognise natural remedies and their aggressive market forces have almost wiped out societies age-old knowledge of natural medicines to our detriment.
The medical research scientists have only now begun to do research into garlic as an alternative to antibiotics as the superbugs like MRSA are not affected by treatment with their antibiotic medecines, at their 41st conference in Chicago they presented research to show that garlic was effective against superbugs.
They are now forced to look at the alternatives and no doubt will find a way to package garlic in a million plastic bottles and sell it to us at exhorbitant prices after much processing through much stainless steel machinery in big laboratories....
You can eat about 25 grams of garlic a day without any toxicity problems and that should be enough to kill off plenty of bacteria. Cooking in oil will make the garlic useless so you must eat it raw which is the difficult part, but you get used to it and the taste is not at all as bad as the pain from an infected tooth.
