Treatment of Jews can be seen in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice, through the character of shylock. Merchant of Venice is thought to be written between 1596 and 1598.

It is thought that the anti-sematism shown is based on Roderigo Lopez, a physician to Queen Elizabeth the first, who was accused by the Earl of Essex of trying to poison her. Lopez was said to be a well known Marrano (hidden jew) and a lot of hate towards jews was mongered among his trial and execution. Hope this is of some help!
