∙ 12y agoThe very earliest were likely made from bamboo tubes. Then, guns were cast from metal. Then, guns were made from wrought iron hammer-welded together. Once the Metallurgy improved guns began to be cast again. Further technological improvements led to barrel blanks being forged and then drilled.
