It will be a Solar Eclipse
Both lunar and solar eclipses are the result of positioning 3 astronomical bodies (earth, sun and moon) in a straight line relative to the observer. A solar eclipse is observed when the sun, moon, and earth are positioned in a straight line with an observer on the earth. A lunar eclipse is observed when the sun, earth, and moon are in a straight line with an observer on the earth. A lunar eclipse, as observed by an observer on the earth would appear as a solar eclipse as observed by an observer on the moon.
When the Sun, Earth and Moon line up exactly, an eclipse occurs. If the alignment is sun, Moon, Earth, then it is a solar eclipse. If the alignment is Sun, Earth, Moon, then we have a lunar eclipse.
No eclipse can occur unless the sun, moon, and earth arein line.
An eclipse of the Sun, if they are in that order. Moon, Earth and Sun would be an eclipse of the Moon..
A solar eclipse is formed on a new moon day, when Sun , Moon and Earth come in a stragiht line. The eclipse occurs on the earth where shadow of moon falls on our lovely planet, Earth.
during a lunar eclipse, earth, sun and moon are in a straight line, First it's the sun, then earth, and last the moon.
When the Earth, Sun and Moon are in line an eclipse can occur.
In a solar eclipse there is the sun, the moon, and Earth. It looks like a halo around a ball of darkness.
Solar eclipse--Sun, moon, Earth Lunar eclipse-- Sun, Earth, moon
The moon and earth are always exactly in line; any two points define a line. When the earth moon and sun are all exactly in line, that is different. When this happens it is either a solar eclipse or it is a lunar eclipse.
Earth, Moon and Sun line up and it looks like the Moon is covering the Sun.That's a solar eclipse.A lunar eclipse is when they line up with Earth in the middle and the shadow of the Earth is on the Moon.
When the Sun, Moon and Earth are all lined up exactly, we have an eclipse. If the Earth is in the middle, it's a lunar eclipse. When the Moon is in the middle, it's a solar eclipse.
