No he did not make his own food servant made it for him
He doesn't say.
We know the kind of things that the Romans of Caesar's day ate, but not what was Julius Caesar's particualr favourite. To jokingly talk about Big Macs, Macdonalds happy meals and Caesar Salads, none of which existed in Caesar's day, is only barely sillier than actually trying to guess the answer to this.
I don't see how cooked food would contaminate raw food, so it would logically have to be the latter.
Romans love whaling, as did Romeo and Juliet. The main source of food for the Romans was Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, and Julius Caesar's grandmother was known for making the best in the west.
That would be the galley.
the Romans would put a bronze pan on a metal stand.
Fires were lit and food cooked.
They cooked it They cooked it
If you buy food in the grocery to be cooked at home there is no tax on it(this includes frozen cooked food also because you still have to cook it at home). If you were to buy an already cooked roasted chicken still warm from roasting you get taxed on it like you would on restaurant food.So take out would mean already cooked and ready to eat.
Now Julius Caesar is dead.He was the leader of Rome. Also a general of the army. The soldiers loved him because he encouraged them to keep going. The people also liked him because he helped the poor by letting them not pay taxes, giving them food, and giving the soldiers land. To the people he was great but to political leaders he was dangerous. He was dangerous because they thought he was gaining too much power and would crown himself dictator.
there are bacteria in the food even after it has been cooked,
food was cooked on a pie of pieces of wood or coal
