If Jesus were never to have come, according to the Jesus Theory, we as people would have to pay offerings to God in order to stay free of sin. Jesus Christ, according to the story, came to earth to die for mankinds sin. Hhuummmmm......

In fact, we can not be entirely sure that there really was a Jesus of Nazareth. It is possible that Christianity was based on another figure in Jewish history, such as the Teacher of Righteousness, or that Christianity began as a mystery religion, or one based on the heavenly Joshua.

Whether or not Christianity was really founded by Jesus of Nazareth, if there was no Christianity, there would probably be no Islam, at least not as we know it today. Muhammad was influenced by both Judaism and Christianity, which had began to spread in the Arabian peninsula.

Westerners would probably be pagans, faithfully following the ancient Roman religion, or perhaps that of Mithras. Otherwise, if Judaism continued to proselytise, we could all be Jews, or perhaps we could be Buddhists. Certainly, Buddhism would have become the dominant religion of much of the present Islamic world, but Indonesia would probably still be dominated by Hinduism and animism.

Although there would be religious diversity, there would not be the intolerance, persecution and religious warfare associated with conflict among the abrahamic religions.
