This will work for the last few Windows editions: Press the start button or the Windows key, then select "Control Panel". Now go to "Printers & Other Hardware" where you will find the "Mouse" icon. Click on this and the "Pointer Options" tab where there is a clearly marked slide bar to change pointer speed.
In Control Panel, Mouse, or the equivalent for your particular operating system.

Click start > Settings > Control panel > Mouse > Pointers. Select the pointer you wish to use then click apply then click ok. I would advise you not to change the speed of the mouse because it can be quite hard to click things when your mouse is set to high speed. Hope that helps with answering your question.
Weird. The question looked different when I typed it -__- Here are some more details: I have an A4TECH K4-3D mouse and I want to change the function of the 2X button. I had this acme MN04 mouse that had a small button that would change the speed of the cursor in a single click and I want 2X button to do the same. Is there any way to do this?
It is a very good mouse speed !
To get to your mouse control panel, from a Windows XP system you go to;Start-->Control Panel-->Printer and other Hardware-->MouseClick on mouse and the Mouse Properties box will show up. You can make changes there for the mouse. The speed, the pointer icon and other things.
It depends on what kind of mouse you have. If the mouse has RGB lighting, then it is quite easy. If you want to change the color altogether, then you would have to paint its separate pieces. It would help if you know what kind of moue you need the color changed on though.
Circular motion would change the direction of an object but would not affect the object's speed.
Speed = Distance/Time
In Windows XP, you can easily change the sensitivity of your mouse. Simply go to Control Panel, and open Mouse Properties. In the Window that comes up, there are many options about your mouse configurations, and on the Pointer Opions tab, there is a slider which allows you to change the pointer speed. If you reallywant precision and speed, I recomend getting an actual mouse.
mickey is measurement unit of speed Of computer mouse.
