There are lots of things that would make a contestant stand out from the rest in a pageant, but the most important things are self-confidence and poise; if there is an interview with the judges, intelligence and articulacy would be important.
No, it simply means that the photo you submitted had the most appeal and/or the judges think you would be the best for modeling/print work!
If your idea is to recite a cheer such as one you would do on the sidelines at a game; I would encourage you not to do that in a pageant. Talent portions usually have to be 2 mins long and I doubt you'd want to write a cheer that long. Plus, the judges would get bored (no offense). NOW, on the other hand. If you were to compose a routine that included gymnastics, tumbling and cheering choreography and elite jumps- and start it off with a cheer, it would be a bit more suitable.
A sample script of a beauty pageant would include an opening dialogue by the emcee of the pageant. The script would also include what the contestants would be competing in such as formal dress, swimsuit, and talent competitions.
If You Rejected Me I Would Be Okaii With It
Get them to attend a pageant (make sure it's a good one).

The Pageant Tabulation System is the accrual of points that a person gets in a pageant. For example, a person would be scored on beauty, talent, and other things.

In all fairness pageants are opened to everyone ,but it sounds like you are competitive cousins so I would just not let her get to you because it's not worth feuding over! it's just a beauty pageant ,but the next time your in one don't tell her about it ...... and if your really interested just keep working at it because all judges have different opinions :)
i would sacrifice everything
When you win a beauty pageant, you would feel elated, ecstatic, proud, excited, and self-fulfillment.
I actually recently judged one of Nationals Miss Teen Pageants, and I can assure you it's a real pageant. All pageants do have entry fees, but that's not unusual. Also, this is not a beauty pageant; it's a self development pageant that focuses on personal growth instead of physical beauty. That said, the pageant was a cattle call that cumulated in a 4 hour production with no intermission. The staff was very small and they travel to do this pageant each weekend in a different city. It's a boxed pageant - meaning the same thing over and over again and they don't get to know or prepare their girls for the next level. All pageants are businesses, but this one is just all about the money. The judges were told exactly how to score. As a judge, I think there is a lot of room for improvement. I would spend your money on a teen pageant that gives you a recognizable title, and a director who can work with you to book appearances and prepare you for the next level of competition. Yes, it's a real pageant. But I'd still stay away.
