A mango is the sexiest most deliciously flavoured exotic fruit in the entire world (besides the passion fruit of course). It gives you a mouth watering, wood giving, ecstatic feeling that enables your taste buds to rise above and beyond their normal limited abilities of taste, causing you to taste a taste sweeter than a thousand beautifully ripened golden peaches with assorted flavours and assorted edible cores with different flavours in your mouth on a hot and sunny summer day with a thousand more seedless watermelons grown to perfection wear you can chip away the skin by taping the watermelons three times and asking it kindly to allow you to eat it and enjoy its super awesome and godliness. All this absolute ecstasy will be eaten on a spoon that perpetually leaks melted fondue chocolate into it's scoop, the spoon itself is sharper than the word of God because this spoon is actually god himself. Due to it's godly abilities, you don't even have to hold this spoon, it feeds you by itself and to utter perfection so that it doesn't cut you, that is unless you at one point doubt god (whereas you are a huge fool and you should smack yourself very hard in the head with a blunt object). But yeah, god is super cool that way. Anyways, yeah, you eat it and it makes you feel like you have just made hot passionate and sweaty love one thousand times with a nice subtle candle fragrance in the air changing on each occasion. You will also feel like you just travelled across the universe epically and defeated a thousand demons and did a thousand "one thousand years of pain" to a thousand people. Oh and you eat all this in "your" heaven. The mango kicks a$$. This is just my personal definition of the fruit though.

A mango is a tropical fruit found in various southern countries with high temperatures. It comes in a variety of colors, from green (unripe) to deep red (ripe). It contains a pit in the middle, like peaches, and has a waxy layer of skin on the outside. Its shape can also be compared to a papaya.

Why is a mango called a mango?

A mango is called a mango because it was the name of the African explorer, Michael Mango. In 1827, at age 22, Michael was strolling along through the Malawi streets when a giant mango suddenly dropped on his head. The mango was yellow, slightly green and smelt as sweet as summer. Mr. Mango thought it would TASTE as sweet as summer too, so naturally, he took a big bite. Poor Michael had no clue that he had to peel the mango before eating it. He choked on the skin and lay on the streets, unable to breathe. When the paramedics got to Michael, it was too late. Michael Mango had died. No one was around when Michael had bitten into the mango and all they found was a strange fruit on the ground with one bite taken out of it. A starving 41-year old woman saw the mango on the ground and was so desperate that she too died from choking on the skin. Passersby understood that Michael Mango must've passed away because of the mango. To this day, that is why the mango is called a mango.
