States that have grounds and procedures pertaining to the emancipation of a minor, do not always require parental consent or involvement. The universal factors are, the parents must be notified of the emancipation filing so they may have the opportunity to contest it, and the minor must be at least 16-years-old. Contact the circuit clerk's office in the county where you reside to find out if emancipation is allowed in the state where you live.
1. You have to live in a state that allows emancipation.
2. They court has to agree that you meet the requirements for emancipation. They don't have to follow the desires of the parents, but they will take it into consideration.
Parental consent for what? Many states have laws that allow minors to file for emancipation from their parents if they meet certain criteria, but what specifically are you asking about?
Yes, parental permission or signature is not required. But they have to be notified of the hearing and the judge will listen to their opinion.
None that I'm aware of.
No, you have to be 18 to get married without parental consent in any state in the the US.
You don't get emancipated with parental consent the judge decides if you are emancipated or not... * Illinois 'emancipation of mature minors act' states: "No order of complete or partial emancipation may be entered under this Act if there is any objection by the minor, his parents or guardian"
No, the legal age in any state is 18 without parental consent; no proper piercing shop will pierce you without parental consent. Please don't pierce yourself or get it done without proper sterilisation and procedure!
18 you cannot be a minor and move out without parental consent or any repurcussions from police if they are brought into the picture...
No. The NC Juvenile Code states that any juvenile under 18 years of age is subject to the supervision and control of their parents. That means the minor's parents get to decide where they live. The exceptions to that are juveniles that are married, serving in the armed forces (both of which require parental consent) or have been emancipated by the court (which is RARELY granted).
NO you need to be emancipated or have parental consent to move out in any state!!! if your not emancipated I suggest that you just stick it out a little longer because if you try leaving now the police can get involved which no one needs or wants that hope everything works out for you...Good luck and God Bless!!!
You are not emancipated in any state just because you get pregnant. Until you are 18 you need parental consent to move out.
With parental consent a child can leave home at any time. Otherwise they must be an adult, 18 in Connecticut.
There is no state in the U.S. that will allow someone under the age of 18 to get married without parental consent or special circumstances/court approval.
At 18.
No. There are very few states that would allow a 14-year-old to marry at all--even with parental consent. In the few that would, most of them would also require court approval. I am not sure but if the 14 year old was emancipated it might be possible.
