You must first compress your files by zipping them or by using a program such as WinRAR to put a password on them. To Zip them, right click on the files you choose and click Send to, Compressed file. Under the Security tab, create the password you choose. As it compresses, it adds the password on it.

You can put a password on a personal file by using a software called as folderguard...after you download this software you can automatically configure your settings and protect ur personal folders with a standard password...try getting the torrent for this software and then download it using utorrent or bit torrent...
