One type of experiment that is easy for kids to explore is a floating egg in water. By adding salt, the salty water is denser and pushes the egg up, causing it to float. The show is not inappropriate at all, but some kids may not understand some of the jokes and situations that happen. I would probably reccommend this for kids at least at the age of 4.
