Please note that the Lost Colony was a colony, so if they survived, there would probably be another colony where it was. Maybe it was Roanoke, I forget and I don't have my social studies book with me. . . Ok maybe they would still be a colony today but since they are all dead. . . Oh well! Go on Google and type in "The Lost Colony" and see what comes up and maybe that will help you learn more about their mysterious dissapearence. Good Luck!!!!!!

A colony has two different parts, there is a depend colony, and a settlement colony. a dependent colony is where tone country takes control of another, but the local leader keeps his title. a settlement comolny is where one country takes control of another, and lives there in settlement. A prrptectorate is wher one country controls another countries trade. a sphere of influence is where one country builds stores and such things in another country. an example of this would be like mcdonalds, or disneyland. If you mean, "What states were settled in by the colony of the first fleet?", the answer to that would be none because when the colony of the first fleet settled in Australia, the country was undecided and wasn't divided up into separate states.

Which of the following statements would not be true of the colony of a country that followed mercantilism during the 17Th century?

The colony would be encouraged to develop it's own form of self-government.

What was the economic theory held by mercantilists?

Mercantilism is the economic theory that the colony should produce raw materials for the mother country so that the mother country could then use these raw materials to create finished products that would then be sold to other markets. The colony was to sell at very low prices because the number one concern was the mother country's economy and not the colony's. The colony would be prohibited from trading their raw materials to other countries and would be forced to buy finished products from only the mother country though the mother country could sell their products freely
