the best thing is to try to ignore the person. if that doesnt work then tell the person to knock it off. if it gets out of hand then tell the police. There are laws regarding cyber bullying. It will probably result in confiscation of the bully's computer

Now that would depend; first off i would say don't respond to any cyber bullying. That just something else for them to hold against you.

Second i would say it would depend on your age; if your below 18 and still in school a trusted teacher could be the answer to your problems, there are many policies in place to protect you in a learning environment. Asking a teacher for advice will work if you are in any kind of education, but appears to have more of an impact in high schools.

There is also the police if the cyber bullying is really harsh or is really scaring you, they will be able to deal with the problem with ease; even if you dont know who it is that is actually doing it. Police have ways of checking things like the IP address or just tracing the phone number.

Last try not to let it get to you, i was bullied for years when i was in school and the thing that annoyed them most was when i learnt that smiling confuses them, they're trying to tear you down bit by bit but dont let them. Also surround yourself with trusted friends, or just a friend that you can talk to about anything.

Hope this helps, it's best not to keep it to yourself.
