Husquvarna made hunting rifles from 1946 to the mid70,s. they are in my book a very good rifle and very weel made especially the early ones.
There is a web site called "marlin manufacture dates", but it will only give you the year of manufacture, not an actual month and day. Seeings as you already know that it is an 1883 rifle, then you probably know as much as you are going to find out about the rifle.

No way to tell for sure. Your rifle was made by Marlin for Sears, and is the Marlin 81- a very nice hunting grade rifle. In its different models, it was made from about 1937-1970. If it does not have a serial number, it was made before the 1968 Gun Control Act. They made a boatload of these, and there is no way to trace an exact date of manufacture.

A "sniper rifle" is simply a rifle employed for that purpose. So long as the "sniper rifle" meets the criteria and restrictions for hunting firearms in the state you're hunting in, you can use it.
The manufacture date is when the rifle was made.
