Yes. There are only three states that have Age Gap (Romeo & Juliet) Laws that preclude prosectution. These are Michigan (4 year age difference, either direction), Colorado (2 year age difference, either direction), and Utah (10 year age difference up). All other states, this is treated as a Sex With Minors or Unlawful Sexual Activity situation. The statutory sentence in most cases is 15 years, and in some can be life. The Public Sex Offender requirement can be 5, 10, 15, 25 years or life. States that have Age Gap laws but that do not precule conviction offer lower sentencing guidelines, but still require registration.
