You didn't mention your prayer level. Either "protect against melee" or "protect against magic" help a lot with Elvarg. But at your current level, you should be able to defeat the dragon without prayer, too. Be sure to take the best food. And don't forget the anti-dragon shield! The dragon can cause a tremendous amount of damage to players who don't carry it.

I would have at least 40 strength, When I completed dragon slayer I had 42 def, 40 attack, and 44 strength. I wore all rune, a scimmy, a chainbody, a platelegs, a dragon shield, and a ful helm. But, you can always complete it at 40 strenght, defense, and attack. I was really an easy quest if you are worried.

now now 70atk 74 str and 70 def is gonna get you nowhere... and 74 range is ok... i guess now you need 80 atk str and def if you gonna do bandos at all... tbh you got no chance in bandos with out 80 atk str and def and you will have 80 hits.. and your hoping ot have aleast 55 prayer or higher 70(recommened).....
