If you are a good friend then you should not hide anything from your friends. Your friend should be able to see you the way you are and accept you same. When friends discover falsehood it may lead to separation.

I have two younger brothers that watch a 'lot' of television.. maybe.. 3 or 4 hours a day? But, on the other side of the coin, they have solid grades, an actual social life with friends and stuff, and they are regularly happy. So I think there really should be no limit as to how much a child should watch TV "unLESS" they are having difficulties with their school/social/family life...
