bro for your car the door chimes and the igntion wires are in the facotry deck u need to go to best buy and buy a special wiring harness for $150 trust me i have experince try looking on eBay first
"REVISED"
The above is half true. If you remove the factory deck out of your 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 sunfire or cavalier. (same car) All you will lose is your door chimes. If you have onstar, which most sunfires and cavaliers don't, you will lose that too. If you don't have onstar and don't care about your door chimes, a regular 2000+ sunfire wire adaptor will work fine. You'll just have to provide 12v from somewhere else. you can get a fuse expander at wal'mart that allows you to add another fuse in the fuse panel with a single wire connected to it (red) just attach a long enough wire to that and run it under the dashboard to the CD player and connect it the red wire of the deck. Hook everything else up the same as you normally would and you just saved yourself over a $100.
Take it to a Sparky.
No....I got to work on a GT Sunfire wiring harness after the ECM fell out of the car and was run over which ripped the wires out. After trying to connect them(which was a losing battle from the get-go) I learned that several wires on the sunfire went into different terminals on the computer.
yes as long as u swap the wiring and the computer too
To install an aftermarket CD player the center console needs to be removed. Once removed a after market wire harness will need to be installed so the CD player can function properly. Install the CD player and connect all the wiring.
the negative wiring for the speakers is the same colour as the positive but with a black line going down it
The wiring on the back of your 2000 Pontiac alternator consists of a wiring harness. The wiring harness goes to a few relay switch is and regulators.
if you are trying to install the factory stereo to it...it should be the same plug...if you are trying to install the stereo for a cougar on a different car you need to buy the plug for that stereo and then a harness for the other car...
Connect the wiring harness to the back of your 1980 Ford CD player. Secure the CD player with the retaining screws.
It's very easy to install car DVD players for yourself, as long as you have a working knowledge of car wiring.
All car in-unit receivers wll require the same standard wiring as all decks, which is fairly simple to install.
