The wheel bearing should have a inner and outer seal to keep debris out. Do you have these installed everytime you replace the bearing? They are highly overlooked but are the difference in having to replace bearings periodicly.
probably your termostat isn't working, that's what happend to my corolla. I replaced the termostat and now it's working again..
The same thing happened to my 1992 Corolla, and it means the alternator needs to be replaced. Although the same thing happened again when the belt went out on my water pump.

4 - 6 hoursdepends on who is doing the job, if its a pro, i'd allow 4 - 6 hours. i wouldn't only replace the clutch plate, if your in there, you should also do the pressure plate & thrust bearing also, better to do them now, than have all that work done again in a short time.
Turn off engine, pull emergency breaks then turn engine on again.
