I am 13 and I want to get my hair cut but I don't know if I will look good with short hair.. what should i DO?

Im 19 and im a hairdresser. I think that if you want to get your haircut short, go for it. At the moment i have a short layered pixie cut and i love it. I've experimented with my hair lots but having short hair was the best thing i ever did.
