-You can also contact battered women and children organizations for advice.
-For protection of your home I suggest you install a camera system, they are not that expensive, just something that records.
-For when you are in a vehicle I suggest you carry a digital camera with you so you can discreetly Photography the person you believe is following you. Pictures will help bolster your credibility with police and prosecutors.
-You should identify safe havens which you can travel to if you are being followed. A safe haven is someplace where there are people, medical care, police, etc. For example: If you were driving to the grocery store and noticed a vehicle following you. You could then drive to the local police station or fire station. Most stalkers will likely break off their pursuit.
-Be sure to carry a cellular telephone with you at all times so you can notify police when an incident occurs.
