the timing belt and seals but depending on how well car has been maintained it may need further repair like trans service coolant change tires ect.have looked by local mech. for oil leaks and such good luck
Toyota sets no interval, it is good for the life of your car. Some people have the chain replaced at 100,000 or 150,000 just to be "on the safe side"
I have asked this question of the dealer, twice now. The answer is that it should last for the life of the engine. If you had an older Toyota, like I did, with a timing belt, it had to be changed at an interval recommended by Toyota. No such interval exists for chains, according to my dealer.

It was sadly discontinued in 1999 and replaced by the stupid Toyota Echo.
This question has been asked many times on this site, use the search. But to answer again, it has no scheduled replacement interval, replace if it is making a lot of noise. It has been known to last more than 400,000 miles.
