I am receiving slower speeds after I connected -bridge mode- my new Netgear R6300 v2 router to my existing Arris Comcast modem How can I receive the speeds that I was getting before I installed it?

The first question that comes to mind is why you are bothering to set up the router in bridge mode. Bridging is used when connecting two routers together but only one is needed to operate as a firewall (between the internet and your private network) while the other is just connecting two segments of the same internal network. In your question, you did not mention having a second router or that the Comcast cable modem is a gateway (modem and router combined in a single hardware unit), so in this case there would be no need for the router to be operated in such a mode. If your configuration has this as the only router, then switch it back to operating in the normal router mode and you should be fine.
