First, you might ask your film teacher if they or someone else affiliated with the school has resources to help with this...
Otherwise... We can start with what we know.
Performed by The Police
Written by Sting (Gordon Matthew Sumner)
Published by A&M Records (A&M/Octone, part of Universal Music Group)
Produced by The Police / Hugh Padgham
There is some good FAQ information on the subject here: http://www.ascap.com/filmtv/faq.html but it won't get you all the way there, I think.
Failing that, you might contact A&M/Octone or Universal Music directly... I'd think they may well have a prepared package for that sort of thing.
email: info@amoctone.com for A&M or umpg.licensing@umusic.com for Universal.
Universal also has web sites for info on licensing music for projects at: http://www.universalfilmandtvmusic.com , http://www.synchexpress.com , or http://www.umpg.com
The most common violation of constitutional rights are against students, particularly student athletes. However, there is a student-athlete Bill of Rights that is set in place to prevent discrimination, among other rights.
Students have no rights. The school stands in lieu of the parents when the students are at school and the parents have all the rights when they are home. So, to answer your question no one who is a student benefits.
On a national level, your rights are the same as any other human being. You have the human rights that are provided to you through the constitution.. freedom of speech, religion, etc. Your student rights depend on a) your school and b) your state. If you're interested in finding out what they are exactly, try your state's website or your school counselor. Hope that helps!
The Student-Athlete Bill of Rights expands and also describes the University's commitments to the student-athletes in all phases of the student-athlete well-being and development.
