I am writing a story and i was wondering The main character is fiery as in she can control fire etc anyway she has a dragon but I'm stuck should she have a dragon who represents ice or fire?

The Ice/Moonlight dragon is called Luar (Spanish for moonlight) and the fire/Sunlight dragon is called Asper (latin for fierce). What i want to know is should i use Asper who is similar to Sam or Luar who is the complete opposite...... HELP!!!!
