I feel unhappy if i go out and the sun shines. What could that be?

I don't know if I have an answer but, me too. To me, when it's rainy out, or even just nighttime, I'm much happier than when I go outside and the sun is cooking everything and it's too bright to see. It irritates me that everyone seems to love sunny days so much (and constantly feel the need to tell me so) and on rainy days (when I am happy and comfortable) they complain about the weather. I hope someone can answer this.
