I get a error message that says Microsoft Office has not been installed for the current user Please run setup to install the application How can I fix this I Have Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007?

This is a Office Genuine Advantage issue caused by pirated software, invalid registration information, or updating the security algorithm of the mso.dll file. In order to solve this extremely common issue you have to disengage the genuine advantage software all together

Be sure to back up all files and registry keys to prevent permanant damage to your computer Answers.com and my self cant be held responsible for your mistakes, working with your registry can destroy your OS and leave you with a paperweight of a computer so please just be smart about it and find someone to help you if your inexperienced.

For 32 bit use this

Start by finding the Proof.Xml file should be

c:program files\common files\Microsoft shared\office12\office setup controller\proof.en\proof.xml

edit all instances of "never" to "always" and replace original file. Next you must enter the registry editor and erase the registration id's that trigger genuine advantage software

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{30120000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}

delete the "productID" and "digitalproductID"

For 64 bit use this

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Microsoft shared \ OFFICE12 \ Office Setup Controller \ Proof.en

edit all instances of "never" to "always" and replace original file. Next you must enter the registry editor and erase the registration id's that trigger genuine advantage software

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Microsoft \ Office \ 12.0 \ Registration \ {91120000-002F-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}

delete the "productID" and "digitalproductID"

Should be done after that. Enjoi

If the answer given above does not work try this:

The error message, "word has not been installed for the current user" seems to be one of the latest ways that Microsoft uses to control software piracy.

You will receive this message if you attempted to mess with the, "MSO.DLL" File. Or you installed Microsoft Word with a pirated license key.

You will continue to receive this error message even afer you attempted to repair or re-installed office.

But not to worry there is a permanent fix that will allow you to uninstall Microsoft office without re-installing the operating system.This fix will allow to re-install office with a legit license key.

Click on the following link or copy and paste for this permanent fix:
