I got a text message that says your 8-digit secret code is 55555555 I am not going to give you the number because i have no idea what it is and it might be important- from 400056 what is this?

I also received this message from the same number 400056. I cannot figure out what the hell it is too, but I'd really like to know. EDIT:

these type of message is mostly phone spam. The sender makes money by sending you a mysterious message (about a secret code for instance) or saying "hi I'm X and I have your number in my cell phone... " or any other intriguing message. You then fall for the trick and call back an overcharged phone number, or send an overpriced text message. The spammer is paid back by the phone companies.
