hey man all you have to do is earth out the cat wire and problem solved ,you will have two or one wire comming from the cat , hope this helps

I have found that Toyota's warranty on the catalytic converter is 8 years or 80,000 miles, which ever comes first. If your car is under those requirements than you can have a Toyota Dealership repair it for free. Unfortunately my Toyota has over 120,000 miles so I will have to pay for mine out of pocket, which can cost up to $1500. If you call Toyota directly and tell them about your catalytic converter they will document it and if enough people complain, then they will recall it!! 1-800-331-4331 Plus, if you have to pay for the repair now and later on they recall it, you will get reimbursed... So I suggest anyone that has a issue to call Toyota and make sure it is documented!
