who replaced the chain guide because it sounds like the timing might be off a bit like it skipped a few teeth when the guide broke from the slack.
on some engine designs when the timing slips or is wrong the valve train will hit the pistons. something has to break, the valves, pistons, or the rods will bend.
It can break with out warning.
Couples break up because they no longer stay interested in each other. They feel like something is missing between them. This causes them to break up and separate.
if the timing belt breaks then yes it will throw the timing off.
break it
In this case I would say no. It did not bend the valves.
The timing belt turns your camshaft which opens and closes the valves. If you have a non-interference head your engine will crank. If it doesn't then your valves will smash into your piston heads and something would have to break for it to turn over.
Age or damage from a failed pulley.
"I didn't break it!" I break something every time I touch something.
you completely ruin that weirdass window
There is no timing belt. It is a timing chain. I have 130,000 miles and have not had any trouble. It will start making noise when it is time. Unlike timing belts which will break, timing chains wear out slowly.
A break up is oficial when you are happy the relationship is over...instead of missing the other person.
