The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.
Well my corolla need a new flow meter, new transmission oil and a belt tensioner, not sure which one fixed it though
It means there are problems with the cars transmission. It could be quite expensive to get fixed.
Car transmissions can cost a lot of money to get fixed. They can cost up to about 300 dollars to get fixed. Though you can go to a place and pull a transmission yourself and replace it for cheaper about 100 dollars.
Yes, the p0741 code and many other codes can sometimes be fixed when you flush the transmission.
Of course not, the problem must be fixed.
A continuously variable transmission is a transmission that does not rely on fixed gear ratios. This carries a fuel saving benefit as it allows the engine to run at its most efficient RPM.
The problem was not fixed with a tune up, or the light is on because it was not reset by the service station.
There is a problem somewhere in an emissions control system. Get it fixed.
Believe it or not you can not check the transmission oil on a 2007-2010 Tundra with a 5.7 leader engine and possibly the 4.7L engine. It is designed to go 100,000 miles before servicing and IT MUST BY DONE BY THE DEALER. it has to be brought up to a certain temperature and need a special tool to check it. Talk to a Toyota service manager if you don't believe me. There is no dipstick. I had a conversation with a service manager and he said "You can't believe how many people drain the transmission and then can't figure out how to refill it and have to tow it back here to get it fixed." Also look in your "Owners Manual" and you will not find anything on servicing the transmission by the owner.

The best tractor engine specifications will depend on what tractor is being fixed. The transmission specifications that often work include around 400 horsepower, and include a V4 engine.
Flush the transmission.....for some strange reason when I had the transmission fluid changed...new filter..etc....the engine hours were reset to 0. Not happy...can't seem to find any info as to why this happened or if it can be fixed.
