I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado Duramax 2500 HD and i put it in 4 Lo today and went to go and switch it back to 2 Hi it will only stay in 4 lo?

4wd actuator switch is probably bad. had the same problem on my 03.

there is an adjusment bracket on the drivers side just under the truck. the cable splits from one to two cables and there is and adjustment nut and sleeve on the cable there 1/2 inch nut. i just tightened mine today. hope this helps.
