I have a 94 merc cougar with a v8 and have changed tons on it why is their white smoke and raw fuel exiting the exhaust pipe?

Sounds like coolant leak internally, bad head gaskets, cracked head, bad intake gaskets. If leaking into a cyl or more that cyl wont be firing right so raw gas can make it through.

Sounds like a severely cracked head to me. Did you overheat the engine???? Is your coolant level in the radiator going down? I had the same problem with my 94 Cougar 4.6L. I had to replace the ECU. Hard to track down, good luck!!
