Why is black smoke coming out the exhaust?
It is buring oil this is a wrong answer whe engine burn oil to the exhaust smoke is a heavy white smoke no black
My 92 subaru legacy wagon hesitates when you tramp the pedal why and i got black smoke coming out of exhaust gave it a oil change any suggestion?
What can cause white smoke from the exhaust only when car is hot you have taken the exhaust manifold and not smoke is coming from the engine this is a sr20det engine turbo coolant levels have not Chan?
If you have black smoke coming out it would be because you have bad timings, i have a buddy who had that happen to his jeep and we replaced the spark plugs and air filter and fixed the timing and it solved the problem, but wen you blow black smoke its because of bad timing it happens with diesels to.
if you have blue smoke coming into the exhaust that means your piston rings are bad and are letting oil into your combustion chamber and then causing the oil to be burned with your air fuel mixture and that's why your exhaust is blue from having that burnt oil dumped out of the exhaust valve and out the exhaust
Black smoke is overly rich fuel/air mixture. Blue smoke is oil burning. White smoke is coolant in the combustion chamber. I have never seen green smoke coming from an auto exhaust. The only thing I would suspect is that this is coolant in the combustion chamber caused by a blown head gasket. If it smells sweet and you are loosing coolant with no apparent leak, then you have a blown head gasket or cracked head.
