That means there is a problem with the emissions system are computer system.
You need to have the engine scanned with a engine scanner to find out what is wrong.
Could be a bad fuel cap Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
That requires an OBDII engine scanner to do that. But if you haven't fixed the problem that made it come on in the first place then it will just come back on. You need to have the engine scaned and read the codes.
it is broken Check the fuse, check the bulbs, check the brake light switch, in that order.
How to read check engine codes on a 1999 chev 1500 suburban.
NO there is not. The timing on that engine is computer controlled and it REQUIRES an engine scanner to set the timing. A timing light will not work.
No it will not, not even close.
you need to check your glow plug relay it is most likely going out you can jumper it to see if the glow plug light will come back on to start engine
It might need a new air filter Go to the local auto parts store pull the codes and see what they say it means.
Distributor ? whats the problem with the car?? you may want to check the coil packs at the front of the car on almost the bottom of the engine. You can test them by removing the coil pack from the module assy and check for a trigger signal between the module terminals with a test light while someone assist you by turning over the engine.
It most likely means you have a bad O2 (oxygen) sensor, to be completely sure, I would take it somewhere and have an OBD2 scan done on it. Hope this was some help.
